Portland Animal Liberation is continuing to keep the pressure against Skanska USA. Today was a fine day for a protest, with unusually warm and sunny weather (thanks to climate change...). About a dozen local activists arrived outside of Skanska's Portland office at 222 Southwest Columbia Street.

Surprise Home Demo in Seattle!

On Friday night, a group of activists made a surprise visit to the home of James and Lindsey McReynolds in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle. James is the Senior Project Manager at Skanska USA's Seattle office, and his job includes acquiring and cultivating contracts--meaning that Skanska's contract with the University of Washington to build a new lab has developed in his hands.

South Florida Skanska Protest & Office Disruption!

South Florida animal and earth advocates have been involved in the No New Animal Lab campaign from its beginning. Last week, they decided to keep pressure on despite heightened security presence. Activists visited the Ft. Lauderdale offices of Skanska USA and brought over 20 protesters to the front doors of the building. They quickly caught the attention of building security, who didn't anticipate the protest moving from its previous position on the sidewalk.
