From Portland activists: 

There are a lot of ways to get involved in the No New Animal Lab campaign. From generating petitions to storming into office buildings with bullhorns, the strategy of this campaign is to employ all these tactics in a complementary way. We can better build a movement and better confront the institutions abusing animals if we create strategies that utilize a diversity of tactics.

Shut It Down: No New Animal Lab Campaign Video

We have a lot of exciting plans over the coming months. Something that we've consistently taken inspiration from when organizing this campaign is the role that good media can play in mobilizing support, influencing creative action, and sustaining a sense of urgency. Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty (SHAC) knew this well, publishing videos such as the Time for Action series, The Mandate, and Strike Back.

#HauntSkanska: Halloween Weekend of Action!

Imagine being literally buried alive, two stories under the surface, deprived of sunlight or even a glimpse of the outside world. You are nearly suffocating from the stench of feces and urine, compounded by the odorous cocktail of stale latex, formaldehyde, ammonia, and perhaps hundreds of other chemicals. You wish to escape, but find yourself confined to a tiny filthy wire cage, in which you are barely able to move, and encrusted with waste, blood, and dirt.

NNAL Tour Heads West for the #MarchonUW

From the NNAL Tour:

Leaving New York City was a bittersweet occurrence on this tour. There are a myriad of pressure points in the NYC area, and it is one of the campaign's most strategic locations. But after a week of actions against Skanska and strategizing with local organizers, it was time again to hit the road. NYC marked the eastern-most tour stop for us, and the springboard from which we would head back to Seattle for the October 2nd March on the University of Washington.
