Thank you to the Student Animal Liberation Coalition at Portland State University for inviting No New Animal Lab organizers to speak at the second Northwest Animal Liberation Forum!
Over the weekend, NNAL organizers spoke as part of the Northwest Animal Liberation Forum, an event that brings people together from throughout the NW region for workshops, discussion, and networking. We presented workshops about the state of the animal liberation movement, as well as campaign development and research. Other topics included computer security, "knowing the legal system," prisoner support, and an anti-oppression training taught by PSU students. Each day of workshops was bookended by important discussions about how people can be part of the animal liberation movement and show solidarity with other movements and communities. Thank you to everyone who attended and welcomed us as part of the event -- we were happy to be part of a productive and inspiring weekend!
