LEGAL RESOURCES

Please review this Legal Primer for Activists to get an overview of your basic rights when engaging in activism, how to deal with interactions with law enforcement, and security culture in activist communities.

You are welcome to print and share the primer with other activists, and we especially encourage you to do so with people you work with and to discuss the information together.

Please also see this “script” from the Civil Liberties Defense Center about what you can do if law enforcement officers approach you or knock on your door. This is great for printing out and hanging by your door.

If you have questions or would like to have us conduct a Know Your Rights Training (either in person or via Skype) for your community, please contact us.

CHANT SHEETS

Chant sheets to use during protests and other demonstrations so everyone can learn and lead chants. Just print, cut, and pass out!

CAMPAIGN FLYER

Click on the below flyer image to download a printable PDF of the flyer. You may print the flyer to distribute as you want (through protests, leafleting, tabling, etc.), and you may use the link to email the flyer or re-post on other websites. The file has two pages of the flyer so you can print double-sided, and then cut the pages in half to make two flyers from each sheet of paper.

SHAREHOLDER FLYER

You may print the flyer to distribute as you want (through protests, leafleting, tabling, etc.), and you may use the link to email the flyer or re-post on other websites. POSTERS FOR SIGNS

Click on the below poster images to download printable PDFs of the posters for using at protests and other events.

The files are formatted to make 20″ x 30″ posters. You can take the files to a local print shop to have full-size posters printed, or print them at home or work by using the poster print function in Adobe Reader. To print through Adobe Reader, when the print preview box comes up after pressing print, in the Page Sizing & Handling option select “Poster.” This will print the posters over 8 pages to then be cut, taped together, and mounted on a 20″x30″ poster board (foam-core poster board of this size can be found at many stores, including the Dollar Tree). You can also mount full-size printed posters to foam-core poster board to make the signs sturdy.
